Three Wise Men was founded in 2004 by Xanthippas. The name is sarcastic as the three men referred to in the name are old enough to know that wisdom is elusive and those claiming that they speak wisdom are often those who spout nothing but folly. The purpose of this website has always been to provide a place for us to think out loud and provide a means for us to have our voices heard in public. At the time it was founded, blogs were all the rage and it seemed like the best way to make our objections to the continuing excesses of the Bush administration known. Almost immediately, we interfered with our own idea and started writing about whatever crap came to mind. These days, we mostly blog about foolishness we see around us in whatever sphere it presents itself.
