In honor of Women’s History Month, last March, Yelp named women-owned businesses “Ones to Watch” in beauty and wellness for 2022. The Body Electric Yoga Company was one of 16 Outstanding Companies recognized across the country. And on June 27, Tampa Bay’s elite Yelp team got to see what the fuss was all about.
Upon entering the studio, it is clear that The Body Electric Company is special. Unlike many gyms, the lobby is airy and quiet. The furnishings and design are eclectic and funky, creating a warm, cozy and above all welcoming atmosphere. The gym unfolds and reveals rooms equipped with top-of-the-range equipment and functional spaces, all maintaining the same “all are welcome” attitude.
Studio BE Athletic almost stole the show, but the restorative yoga class led by Jennifer Rose is what’s been keeping Yelp Elites gushing for days. Guests enjoyed a restorative 50-minute practice followed by a refreshing drink from Mother Kombucha.
