Gronk is undoubtedly the GOAT TE, but cam brate is more than serviceable and can have a high season carry in the stats. I see us bringing a former vet PATRIOT TE I believe it’s available your report to Brady

One many does not make a team. Maybe a big part of this team, but Gronk doesn’t support the Bucs. Brady is more than capable of getting the ball into the hands of the guys we have on the team right now. I’m not worried and I didn’t think Gronk would come back anyway. Was good.

The big question is whether they can win a Super Bowl with Todd Bowles. With a head coach winning percentage of around 38%, it’s a much bigger hill to climb than replacing Gronk.

With Brate, Otton and Kief we will have a good TE group. With all three, they can do just about anything Gronk could do this season, and not team up in doubles or triples.
The team will be fine.

I sounded the alarm bells months ago. It’s too late in free agency to find someone really good.
Who stays at TE? TEs that cannot block. Eric Ebron, Kyle Rudolph, Jared Cook. After that pure backup types. A sad list, but they have to make a move or trade at some point.
Pray that Cam Brate will become 3 times the player he once was, and a sudden pro bowler. That’s what it will take.

Brate, before Brady/Gronk was a reliable TE in the passing game. No QB star. It really doesn’t matter. Brady needs to be at his best if this team has a chance this year. Fingers crossed 🤞 he’s having the best season of his career and our defense can hold on!

Let’s be realistic and don’t fall into fantasy. This team needs a productive vet TE. They were already thin on slot options, and Gronk’s retirement means they will become more predictable, whether running or passing games.

Gronk’s fearsome physical build and speed also made him an excellent blocker. I just hope the guys we drafted can block as well (at the nfl level).
